Dead Leaf Butterfly’s debut album `Ontmoeting´ was released on the Jazzwerkstatt label in December 2023:

„We stood around her kitchen, unsuspecting of what the future would bring. We caught up on the latest news while Lucia made coffee, then reshuffled the furniture in her Berlin flat so we could play. We shared musical ideas as if we were still chatting. Some compositions were more than 15 years old and others brand new. Our family feeling really shines through on Ontmoeting, the first release of Dead Leaf Butterfly. Back then, before the pandemic, we had no idea what was to come. We simply didn’t realize how special our meetings would be.“
