Riah Knight wurde 1996 in einem kleinen Dorf in Sussex geboren und ihre Musik wurde als ‘ätherisch’, ‘roh’, ‘engelsgleich’ und ‘essentiell für das aktuelle politische Klima’ beschrieben. Riah Knight verbindet originelle Geschichten und eindringliche Texte mit entspanntem, schwülen Gesang, Jazz–Harmonien und einer Prise Folk. Ihre Live–Auftritte nehmen Sie mit auf eine poetische Reise über Kontinente und junge Herzen. Sie schreibt und performt seit zwölf Jahren und trat in Institutionen wie Notre Dame, The British Houses of Parliament, dem Brighton Dome und auf der Hauptbühne von The London Roundhouse auf. Zur Zeit arbeitet Riah am Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin, wo sie als Schauspielerin ⁄
Musikerin angestellt ist und wo ihr musikalisches Material aufgeführt wird. Zwischen Tourneen und Auftritten arbeitet sie an ihrem Debüt–Solo–Release.

Born in a small Sussex village in 1996, Riah Knight′s music has been described as ’ethereal’, ’raw’, ’angelic’ and ’essential for the current political climate’. Blending original storytelling and evocative lyrics with laidback sultry vocals, jazz harmony and a twist of folk, Riah’s live performances take you on a poetic journey across continents and young heartbreak. She has been writing and performing for the last twelve years, and has performed at institutions such as Notre Dame, The British Houses of Parliament, the Brighton Dome and main stage at The London Roundhouse. Riah currently works at the Maxim Gorki Theatre in Berlin, where she is employed as an actress ⁄ musician and where her musical material is being performed. She is working also on her debut solo release between tours and performances.
