Getreu diesem Motto begibt sich Zettelmann seit Jahren auf die Suche nach dem Stein Der Idioten und
anderen Manifestationen der Katachymie und Pataphysik.
 
Unter konsequentem Miszbrauch von Alltagsgegenständen und Küchenchemie entsteht ein wahnwitziges Labor zwischen Pyromantik, Metamaterialismus und Eklektizismus der Reinen Form bis selbst die Wahrheit dran glauben muss.
 
Zur Ausstellung dieses scheinbar aufgegebenen Labors in
der Galerie bauchhund erscheint ein Rezeptheft in einer Edition von 33 Exemplaren (Exemplar: 10,- €).

„After 3 years of exile you decide to go back to Paris. It is a typical, middle of January winter. No snow; grey sky; rainy; cold but not freezing. Arriving in Paris you realise you feel at home right away. More than in Berlin, the city you live in now. Now you are back in the city you lived in for most of your life. You want to take photos; impressions, but you don′t know exactly what and how.
By chance you live in this apartment on the 26th Floor with a view out to the suburbs of Paris. You are in the kitchen drinking a coffee in the morning, looking out of the window. Watching the raindrops, taking your camera and knowing what to do. Because it is poetic, melancholic, mysterious and there is light. Just as you feel and just as Paris is for you. Just a “caprice”. No concept, just emotions. A little peek out of the window. And a little intimate book: unpretentious and private. Declaring my love again to this city and the surprising view it sometimes offers you.”
 
„Nach 3 Jahren Exil beschließt du zurückzukommen und Paris zu besuchen. Es ist ein typischer Januar. Kein Schnee, grauer Himmel, regnerisch kalt, aber nicht eisig. In Paris angekommen fühlst Du dich sofort zu Hause, mehr als in Berlin, der Stadt, in der Du jetzt lebst. Jetzt bist Du zurück in der Stadt, in der du die längste Zeit gelebt hast. Du willst Fotos machen, aber du weißt nicht wie und was. Zufälligerweise wohnst du im 26. Stock mit Blick auf das „Banlieue” von Paris. Du bist morgens in der Küche, trinkst einen Kaffee und schaust aus dem Fenster, beobachtest die Regentropfen, nimmst deine Kamera und weißt, was Du machen musst. Weil es poetisch ist, melancholisch, mysteriös und leicht. Genau wie Du fühlst und wie Paris für dich ist. Nur eine Laune von Dir. Kein Konzept, nur Gefühle. Ein kleiner Blick aus dem Fenster. Let′s cut the Gordian knot. Everyday Renaissance needs no explanation. You can tell. It′s clear. You can interpret it in some different levels, it depends only on the key you have in your hand (… ‘And one man in his time plays many parts…’ ∗).

in Everyday Renaissance ( After All… ) there is no staging. This is life. The not–beauty of the banality. It′s a joke, an ironic game, a quote. There is more Pirandello than Viola, more Woolf than Sherman, more De Angelis than Modugno, more Sally than Charlie (Brown).
